about our program
We are a family childcare home located in National City, CA. We are an outdoor based program for children ages months through elementary school. We believe children learn best through play and hands on experiences. We focus on building social-emotional skills while engaged in open ended play outdoors. We spend all of our time outdoors (rain or shine) with the exception of nap time. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided (allergies will be accommodated). We also provide all diapers and wipes as part of our tuition fees

curriculum
child-led, project based
Our curriculum is based on the children's current interests. Topics of interest that hold their attention for extended periods of time will be turned into long term project work. All curriculum is hands on and intentionally planned to be developmentally appropriate for all the children.

We provide healthy breakfast, lunch, & afternoon snack daily. Our meals are served family style. Children serve themselves and enjoy each other's company and conversations as they eat all together. Meal times are a time to strengthen relationships with each other and reinforce healthy habits such as mindful eating.
